Choosing the right size
Container sizes are described by length; height and width follow standard ISO dimensions unless you're looking at a High Cube unit.

Understanding condition grades
Every listing states a condition grade so you know what to expect before it arrives.
NEW / ONE-TRIP
New
Shipped once from the factory. Minimal cosmetic wear, no structural repairs.
GRADE A
Cargo Worthy
Certified watertight and structurally sound. Visible wear consistent with active service.
GRADE B–C
Wind & Water Tight (WWT)
Sealed against the elements but with more cosmetic wear — dents, surface rust, or patched repairs.

Storage
On-site secure storage for equipment, inventory, or seasonal items.
Shipping
Standard freight and export use, ISO-certified for ocean and rail transport.
Conversion
Foundation for site offices, workshops, or container-home builds.
Site office
Insulated and modified units used as job-site or event offices.
Before you buy: site checklist
Flat, stable ground
The delivery surface should be level and able to bear the container's weight without shifting.
Truck & tilt-bed clearance
Confirm access for a tractor-trailer, plus rear clearance if delivering by tilt-bed — see our Shipping Policy for specifics.
Permits & zoning
Some municipalities and HOAs require a permit for container placement, especially for long-term or converted use.
Ventilation, if converting
Conversions for offices or living space typically need added ventilation and insulation — plan this before delivery.

Do I need a permit to place a container on my property?
It depends on your city or county and how long the container will stay. Check with your local zoning office before ordering, especially for permanent placement or conversions.
How much clearance does tilt-bed delivery need?

What's the difference between Cargo Worthy and Wind & Water Tight?
Cargo Worthy units are certified for active freight use and have less cosmetic wear. WWT units are sealed and usable but show more visible wear a good fit for storage rather than shipping.
