Overview

Shipping containers are delivered by freight, not by parcel carrier. All orders placed on kpnllc.com are fulfilled through licensed third-party motor carriers specializing in container and heavy-equipment transport.

Delivery Methods

  • Tilt-bed (roll-off) delivery — the container is tilted off the truck bed onto the ground. Requires overhead and rear clearance.
  • Crane or forklift offload — available in select areas for an additional fee, useful where tilt-bed clearance isn't possible.
  • Chassis drop — the container remains on a chassis at your site; not available in all locations.

The available method(s) for your delivery address are shown at checkout or provided with your bulk quote.

Delivery Zones & Lead Times

We deliver nationwide within the continental United States through our carrier network. Estimated lead times:

  • In-stock units: typically [X–X business days] from cleared payment, subject to carrier availability.
  • Bulk or multi-unit orders: scheduled individually — see your quote for an estimated window.

Lead times are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates, and can shift with carrier availability, weather, and route conditions.

Delivery Cost

Delivery cost is calculated based on the delivery address (distance from the originating yard or nearest available inventory), container size, and access requirements, and is shown before you complete checkout. For multi-unit or out-of-area orders, request a bulk quote for delivery pricing.

Site Requirements

Before scheduling delivery, please confirm your site can accommodate:

  • A flat, stable, and accessible surface able to bear the container's weight
  • Sufficient clearance for a tractor-trailer and, for tilt-bed delivery, overhead and rear tilt clearance (typically [XX ft] behind the drop point)
  • Any required local permits, zoning approvals, or HOA authorization — obtaining these is the customer's responsibility

Sites that are inaccessible on the scheduled delivery date may incur a redelivery or standby fee charged by the carrier.

Scheduling

Once your order is confirmed, our team or the assigned carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window using the contact details provided at checkout. Someone authorized to accept delivery should be present, or reachable, on the scheduled date.

Inspection at Delivery

Please inspect the container before signing the delivery receipt. Note any visible damage or discrepancy directly on the carrier's paperwork — this is required to file a shipping damage claim. See our Refund & Returns Policy for next steps.

Delays

Delivery dates can be affected by weather, carrier scheduling, mechanical issues, or events outside our control. We'll notify you as soon as we're aware of a delay affecting your order.

Risk of Loss & Title

Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. Title transfers upon full payment, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
